Holiday Greeting Sentence Part One
So far this class has exceeded my expectations of what really can be learned in a literature class. I love the "trip" we are doing at the time and the South American continent. I believe that thanks to the variety of authors (and their places of origin) have been able to learn much more of Latin American culture (which I think is the main objective of this course.) On the negative side, I have to say I do not really like blogs, but not the idea, but because I know nothing about computers. The idea sounds very good, and I think is a good way to start and continue discussions within and outside the classroom. I wish I could make comments on blogs more people, but since not everyone with the same company, sometimes not pan I (I have google account). I am excited to begin "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Marquez, I try to read it recently, but I missed this while I can mucho.Creo "get more juice to reading" by studying in class.

Circus Birthday Party Blog Silent Stone
"Barnabas, the Villares. This "the" refers to the servant. I imagine that this type of speech used to express respect for the "bosses" of the "servants." Also you can see the hierarchy of patterns that they have the final decision on the problems of their servants. They told Hope that he could hunt with Barnabas, but the mother did not want. Another example can be seen as Barnabas takes Hope to the doctor and the children are left alone, the boss orders him to go Euphrasia care.
Machismo in this story is interpreted through the actions of Barnabas, a character change as more is announced. At first thought it was a humble and hardworking, pero change into a man frustrated and violent. The "macho" Barnabas believes that only by being the man of the house and the father of their children may abuse them can hit. Barnabas thought "why was a man, to lie down and have children" and that "children were his, that he would do with them what he pleased."
The sexism of the story is part of machismo, but I want to focus a little on the role of the mother. In history, women have a degree of weakness. Except for the mother. The mother will "win" the patron's first time trying to convince to let Barnabas to marry Esperanza. Hope, or is the victim say ..! I think the mother takes a more 'masculine' and strong, as he faces the standardand Barnabas ... until she "wins" and kills him.
I think the issue of violence is the most important story, as you can see the effects it can have on families and society. On several occasions are acts of violence. The book opens with Hope taking a beating by her mother to take his idea of marrying the head of Barnabas. Later, Hope receives another beating from his mother and when she comes to the employer for help. And now with the violence of Barnabas, which first violence as "lit" but after "violence no longer left the man's chest, he was always there." This means domestic violence irrepentinos attacks your children and Euphrasia. But violence only leads to m

Gay Hooking Up Spots Dc Neruda
After class discussions about the poems of Neruda, much remains to me with the desire to analyze more, since he had heard much about them but never had to analyze in depth. I really really like his poems, but I see that every time I read, understand and interpret them differently. For this reason I believe in reading Neruda (at least these poems) one must have an open mind and at the same time have some information about the author. When I discovered that Neruda wrote this book to los19 years I was impressed, because not many young people this age have such a "literary sensitivity or intelligence." The fact that these poems written in such a young age, I think that gives more power to printing immediatelyNeruda's life I came across the movie again, "Il Postino", then I can really see her recommending, content, language, relevance to the topic of the class .... the poems in the film had a very different from when I read ... as they came back to life ... and I could identify more with them.
